It's another Netflix instant streaming (plus WINE!!!!) double feature! Why? Because after three looong weeks, we finally got INTERNET in our new friggin' apartment!!! It's a celebration!!! A celebration that involves one great movie and one not so great movie. And our first official (and Oscar-nominated) foreign film!! We discuss Wisconsin, polar bear plunges, Tony Shalhoub, brushing your teeth while working out, Korean spas, shocking violence, isolationism, sweet dance moves, the Duggars, the Gosselins and more!! This podcast is rated PG-13 because Krissy pulls out a surprise 5-letter word! Earmuffs, kids!!!

So I Married A Movie Geek - Episode 39 - Say Anything/High Fidelity
Tuesday Feb 15, 2011
Tuesday Feb 15, 2011
The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things... Of Cusacks (both John & Joan), relationships (with your dad, boyfriend, or Swedish-accented girlfriend), and those with "special needs." Yup, J and K are CUSACKING OUT this week, with the 1989 classic 'Say Anything' and 2000's 'High Fidelity.' The post-viewing podcast contains lots of wisecracking, singing, and sneezing and even some snotting. (Ew.) Episode 39 is rated a friendly and tame PG. Aww, isn't that nice?

So I Married A Movie Geek - Episode 38 - Titanic 2/The Karate Kid Part II
Monday Feb 07, 2011
Monday Feb 07, 2011
This week = all sequels all the time, as J and K try and answer the question: is it *really* better the second time around, as the theme from 'Step By Step' suggests? Well, if you're watching 'The Karate Kid Part II,' then the answer is YES. (Justin: "Did we agree on this? Cause I say NO.") But if you're watching 'Titanic 2'... Not. So. Much. Indeed there's a clear winner in this week's double feature podcast, and (spoiler alert!) it's *NOT* the movie that was produced by Asylum. Join us on the Sequel Train as we discuss iceberg tsunamis, coke nails, whether tis better to fight for honor or just say 'eff it,' and the litigious nature of Peter Cetera. This podcast is rated PG-13, for (once again) Krissy's liberal use of the word 'douchebag.'
