WARNING: this episode might be the most R-rated yet! Why? Because we finally watched the one movie Krissy said she would NEVER watch for the podcast - The Human Centipede! And nothing will ever be the same! What did she think of the movie after all this buildup and does she want to kill Justin now that it's all over? Then, it's the return of the #MysterySnackChallenge for yet another week! What has Krissy come up with in the kitchen and will it be better or worse than her infamous last snack?! Plus, we've got a beefy edition of 'A Few Good Questions' and lots of dirty laundry to be aired! We're discussing bedroom cosplaying, annoying habits, movie animals, cartoon reboots and more! Like our podcast on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @MovieGeekCast! Subscribe and if you would like to be the rear end of our sexy centipede, please leave us a positive rating and review on iTunes! We will literally love you until the end of time! You can also email us any questions, comments and snoring remedies (yet again!) to moviegeekcast (at) gmail (dot) com! Thanks for listening!

Play ball! This week, we throw a curveball in our regularly scheduled programming to celebrate the beginning of the Major League Baseball season by finally introducing Krissy to two 1989 baseball flicks - Field of Dreams and Major League! Which one did she enjoy the most? And how would she change either movie to make it better! Or in one movie's case, way more disturbing and R-rated? Also, why is Krissy so crazy once she enters a baseball stadium? Then, the #MysterySnackChallenge is BACK and it's now Justin's turn at the snack wheel! What does he pick and could it be WORSE than "The Fudge?" Plus, it's the first week of the @VHSBattleLeague and Justin introduces his week 1 VHS picks into the competition! Don't miss it, VHS geeks! STEVEN SPIELBERG! He's undoubtedly one of the greats! He might even be our movie geek's favorite director of all time?! This week, we find out with special guest Chris Braaten from the More Gooder Than podcast and returning guest and friend Evan Goldstein! And spoiler alert - everything gets a little bit heated as the R-rated gloves come off! Who's still holding a grudge from a previous draft? And who comes in totally new with a plan to stir things up! What IS Steven Spielberg's BEST movie? Should we have allowed movies directed AND produced by the 'Berg? Fun was had, relationships were tested and someone will eventually come out on top! Episode 151 - Big Trouble in Little China/Escape from L.A.

April 3rd, 2017 · Comments

It's WORLD WAR WIVES on the podcast this week as we invite on a recently married movie geek couple, Dave from the Super Movie Bros & his wife Lauren, to discuss the John Carpenter/Kurt Russell double feature of Big Trouble in Little China (1986) and Escape from L.A. (1996)! Unfortunately, things go downhill very very quickly when the ladies bring the hatred heat on one film in particular. From there, it's touch and go as the men are forced to play extreme defense and all try to come to a common place on what the crap is going on with either of these flicks. Questions are posed - like is Big Trouble worth your trouble? Is Kurt Russell a sexy slab of man beer and/or an overactor? Did you know Snake Plisskin was an actual character's name in one of these movies? What happened in Cleveland with that dude anyways? Which is cooler - surfing onto moving cars or hanggliding with a machine gun? Plus IMDB "trivia,"  we play 'The Newlywed Game' and debate over which 'Friends' characters we each are!? Like our podcast on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @MovieGeekCast! Subscribe and if you want to ride the Porkchop Express, please leave us a positive rating and review on iTunes first! We'll give you a virtual high five and a sexy shout out on the show! You can also email us any questions, comments and eyepatch selfies to moviegeekcast (at) gmail (dot) com! Thanks for listening!
