Episode 131 - Jason X/Event Horizon
Monday Oct 31, 2016
Monday Oct 31, 2016
SPACE! The final frontier! And also the theme of our final double feature of scary movie month! This Halloween, we subjected Krissy to both Jason X (2001) and Event Horizon (1997) for the very first time! What did she think? Would she recommend both, either or neither? And did she stay awake? Good holiday times were had as we discussed our Halloween weekend, personal views on space, the Friday the 13th series, liquid nitrogen storage, "Jason Uber," Sam Neil's turn as Dr. McShadypants, gratuitous hell porn, the "Cinnabon crew," freaky gyrospheres, good ole IMDB trivia and much more! Episode 130 - The Thing/Halloween III: Season of the Witch
Monday Oct 17, 2016
Monday Oct 17, 2016
Scary movie month continues! This time with 2 classics from the genre that happened to become cult films years after their initial release in 1982 - The Thing and Halloween III: Season of the Witch! We invited our good friend and fellow movie geek, Geoff Skinner, over to talk about whether either movie deserves true love or shameful disdain! Despite audio issues and small kid sleeping problems, we managed to discuss Kurt Russell's beard and acting process, Krissy's long-held personal feelings for Wilford Brimley, gross bursting things, MS-DOS-y beep-boop computers, our own Thing detective skills, open-ended conclusions, TOM ATKINS, sexy time in a horror movie, violent robots, Halloween mask PR, "Willy Wonka" and his overall plan, IMDB "trivia" and much much more! FREDDY IS BACK! At least, he's back on our ole podcast for the 1st time in years as we start the horror movie month of October a day early by discussing the Krueger twofer of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)!! And because we didn't want to go through this alone, we joined up multiplayer-style with one of our besties, Evan Goldstein! Dreeaaaaaaam warrioooorssss!!! What did Krissy think about these 2 movies, which of course, she had never seen before now? But most importantly, did she STAY AWAKE?!?!? During our beer-soaked talk, we do really terrible Freddy impressions and attempt to answer the major questions these flicks pose, like: on a scale of 1 to super duper gay, how gay is Freddy's Revenge? And how did *that* happen? Where did Jesse learn his dance moves and his screaming style? How crazed do parakeets have to get to literally explode into a fireball? How would you react if a strange burned psychopath showed up uninvited at your pool party? Plus - what would be YOUR dream warriors power? Where's the love for Dokken?!? And is enjoying gratuitous nurse boobs AND a giant penis Freddy weird? Plus, IMDB "trivia" and some special iTunes Love! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter @MovieGeekCast! Episode 128 - Bachelor Party/Porky's
Friday Sep 16, 2016
Friday Sep 16, 2016
PARTY TIME! Excellent? Well, not according to at least one of us when it comes to this episode's 80's sex comedy double feature of Bachelor Party (1984) and Porky's (1981)! In fact, one of these movies might have been given the worst grades EVER on the podcast thus far! What went wrong?!?! We start with apologies and then quickly get into a discussion about bachelor party expectations and standards, male strip club hot dogs, Funny Tom Hanks, sex donkey overdoses, Tawny Kitaen's surprising dark past, Krissy's disturbing Pac Man/Las Vegas comparison, Kim Cattrall really going for it, glory hole etiquette and Oregon Trail! And it's all very very R-rated just how we like it! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter @MovieGeekCast! Subscribe and if you like us, please throw us a good rating and review on iTunes! Episode 127 - Basic Instinct/Color of Night
Thursday Sep 01, 2016
Thursday Sep 01, 2016
IT'S SEXY TIME! For the entire month of September, we're celebrating all the crazy and raunchy movies you might have found on late night Skinemax in the 90's! First up, this super-stuffed episode where we take on 2 sexual thrillers: Basic Instinct (1992) and Color of Night (1994)! WOW! These flicks were such scorchers we made it a threesome and invited over Rotten Tomatoes senior editor and longtime B.F.F. Grae Drake (@graedrake) to join the R-rated fun! We talked working movie junkets, Hugh Grant v Meryl Streep, Paul Verhoven impressions, bedroom artwork, Michael Douglas's grunting, "mad dancing," Sharon Stone's vagina acting, MIRRORS, cray cray group therapy, Bruce Willis Penisgate, awkward pool sex, Jane March's range and fun IMDB "trivia!" Episode 126 - True Lies/The Running Man
Tuesday Aug 16, 2016
Tuesday Aug 16, 2016
This episode, we go FULL ARNOLD. And we somehow keep it together. We couldn't end our action-themed month of movies without blowing a slightly alcohol enhanced kiss to one of the fine actors on our podcast's Movie Mount Rushmore! We do it after putting Krissy through TRUE LIES (1994) and THE RUNNING MAN (1987) for the 1st time! Which holds up? And which co-stars Family Feud's Richard Dawson? If you like "off the rails," this is your episode! We tackle tough subjects like James Cameron's writing, Bill Paxton, undercover striptease dancing, MATT DAMON, awkward jet departures, Pat Sajak and Vanna White, long ass bridges, tango critiques, Tia Carrere, reality TV and Titanic. Plus, reboots/sequels?, really really bad Arnold impressions and IMDB "trivia!" R-rated for borderline sexual themes! Email us at moviegeekcast(at)gmail(dot)com! Episode 125 - Con Air/Road House
Monday Aug 01, 2016
Monday Aug 01, 2016
Fights! Explosions! Guns! Boobs! It's the first R-rated episode in ACTION-PACKED AUGUST with 2 movies that go together like aggressive peas and carrots - Con Air (1997) and Road House (1989)!!! How did Krissy deal with all this bonkers machismo on celluloid for the first time? Did she walk away happy and triumphant as it blew up into a fireball behind her? Or was she sad and beaten down like a night at the Double Deuce (pre Dalton)? The ultra long discussion that ensued took everyone to a better place emotionally. Mostly because we talked about possible sequels/reboots, the Nicolas Cageassaince, bad Southern accents, awkwardly meeting your dad for the 1st time, Knives, Dr. Hot Stuff/Kelly Lynch, Patrick Swayze's butt/belly button, Ripping Throat PTSD, barn sex, Sam Elliot's hair and MONSTER TRUCKS. Plus, are these 2 movies cursed? And fun IMDB "trivia!" Stalk us on Twitter @MovieGeekCast!

Episode 124 - Ghostbusters (2016)/Flatliners
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
ATTN: GHOSTBROS! We've finally seen Ghostbusters (2016) and we paired it by crossing the streams on another 1990's ghost-ish flick, Flatliners! Was the new reboot worth the long wait? Or does it make us want to pack up our proton packs for good? Spoiler alert: it's complicated! The tangent-filled, ectoplasmic discussion includes a trip down our podcast's memory lane, mad dude bros, Kate McKinnon Faces, the Hemsworth brother charisma phenomenon, Julia Roberts' choice of roles, Kiefer Sutherland tree-tackling, dimly lit hospitals and purgatory punching! Follow us @MovieGeekCast on Twitter and we'll totally flatline you any time you want!

Episode 123 - Independence Day: Resurgence/The Shallows/Jaws: The Revenge
Friday Jul 01, 2016
Friday Jul 01, 2016
It's ALIENS Vs SHARKS this week!!!! And a triple feature as well - Independence Day: Resurgence, The Shallows and Jaws: The Revenge (aka Jaws 4)!! Which one of us had a borderline creepy relationship with the first ID4? The sequel...I mean...WHA HAPPENED? Can we even keep it together as we discuss favorite "characters" and "scenes?" We ask the obvious questions like "Where is Judd Hirsch?," Why Is Liam Hemsworth?," "What is Bill Pullman Doing?" and has one of us been "Jeff Goldblum'ed?" And that's just the guys - does this movie hate on the ladies or what? Plus...does Blake Lively have a death wish? Who was the biggest a-hole shark, the one in The Shallows or Jaws: The Revenge? And PG-movie sex, telepathy and banana boats - do they mix well? It's all R-rated like a romantic drinking date with Bahamian aviation expert Michael Caine! Follow us at @MovieGeekCast on Twitter!!

Episode 122 - Maximum Overdrive/The Lawnmower Man
Friday Jun 17, 2016
Friday Jun 17, 2016
It's a Stephen King double feature this week! And we're discussing 2 of the absolute worst movies he's ever been associated with - MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (1986) and THE LAWNMOWER MAN (1992)!! And surprise, surprise - Krissy hadn't even heard of these movies before. So pick your poison - would you rather be brutally assaulted by vending machines & stalked by large Green Goblin-faced trucks OR be freakishly raped in a virtual reality sex game? Because there is no middle ground when it comes to these crazy ass flicks!! Which one did we like best? Or was it a terrible draw? You'll have to listen! We also gab about Emilio Estevez/Gordon Bombay, baseball field steamrollers, awkward cot sex, Simple Jack wigs, whisper acting, Krissy's Quantum Leap/Sliders VR fantasy & chainsmoking while shirtless (the only way)! It's rated R because there is definitely grown-up words & discussion on virtual reality sex! Follow us at @MovieGeekCast on Twitter, y'all!
