After seeing both Commando (1985) and First Blood (1982) for the very 1st time, which main character would Krissy call if one of her loved ones was kidnapped on her best hair day? Who can do the absolute worst Arnold impressions possible? How does First Blood stack up among the other Rambo movies? And is there a movie universe out there ("somewhere out there, where dreams come truuuuuuuuue....") that could hold these two alpha males? CIVIL WAR and SAKI! A match made in drunken, rambling heaven! Until the next morning that is. While this might be the 576th podcast to talk about Marvel's newest, Captain America: Civil War, we'd be willing to bet that this is the only one to do it midway through a hella-ton of saki shots after dealing with a teething baby with hand, foot & mouth disease. That's what was happening here live. For over an hour. And then we talked about Deadpool. For a much smaller amount of time. We hope it all makes sense. But hey. It's a cinema celebration, bitches. And it all boils down to the most important question - which one of these superheroes would we choose to be less than civil with - in the bedroom!?! It's all super sexy R-rated with enough alcohol to take down a severely tired parent on a school night!

LOVE 'Game of Thrones' & want 2 movies that could be distant, freaky cousins of the show to scratch that fantasy itch? That's the basis of this week's double feature with Willow (1988) and Masters of the Universe (1987)! Have you seen these movies?!?! Because HOLY COW. We get wide-eyed bonkers on coffee & wine to discuss the relevant questions they bring up, like...how much baby murder is too much baby murder? Is the IMDB trivia page totally lying to us about 1 of these films? What's going on with Val Kilmer (in life and in this movie)? Do Game of Thrones-terventions ever work? Who is really the master of our ideal He-Man universe? WHAT IS THE KEY? Does Skeletor have a another lucrative but less violent career he's passing up? Plus - we pitch sequels/reboots for both of these movies that are not completely terrible!

STAR WARS + SANGRIA = FUN TIMES, you guys. Major fun times. This week's episode features both of us venturing into SPACE!!! Did the force "awaken' in Krissy the first time she finally saw 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' or did she fall asleep...yet again? Why is Kylo Ren so upset? If you're on a desert island, which Star Wars newb would you rather have as your co-island partner - Rey, Finn or Poe? What are the multiple uses of BB8 beyond friendship & "beep boops?" Do we care who Rey's parents are? And what WAS Luke's deal at the end? Plus - we imagine getting 'The Last Starfighter' treatment! Is the movie basically one of our biopics? Did we have more fun hanging with Alpha Alex or Beta Alex? Wouldn't you rather go off pseudo-Delorean'ing with the Music Man? It's all very boozy and adult and rated R!

THREE YEARS LATER...we're back? Yeah. We're back. All reboot-y and ready to talk about the new blockbuster "movie" (BvS:DoJ) that confused us soooo much that we absolutely had to reanimate this dead carcass of a podcast. Plus we slooowly also watched the O.G. Batman (1989) & Superman (1978) films. Because, frankly, there's just not enough self-serving blather out there. All the previous rules of the podcast still apply. And, though we're a lot older and about 450% more tired, this discussion tries to get to the bottom of important questions like - can anyone explain what these 2 superheroes are v'ing about? Is there a respectable amount of MURDER? Should you be able to 'see' special effects? Has your mom's name ever saved you from certain death? Why does Superman fly like that? Why do we continue to say 'like' so much? Who's the bestest Batman ever? Who does Krissy decide to surprisingly 'splatter' her hate upon? Kim Basinger....why? Should Joker be 'funny like a clown?' It's all R-rated because we're adults.

MUSICAL TRIPLE FEATURE FTW. It's here and it's totally cray cray and out of pitch. What's on the docket? We discuss our 1st trip to an actual movie theater since July for Pitch Perfect and K is forced to watch Newsies and Purple Rain - one of which she enjoyed and one of which she was totally mystified by. ALL FUN. With random talk about bloody tamponless noses, Anna Kendrick and 90's classic R&B, the city of Taos vs. Santa Fe, Man Child Christian Bale, Muppet Babies love, Prince's overwhelming machismo and acting skills, good bad movies vs. bad bad movies, the definition of "Purple Rain" and Glitter. AND WE SING. ON WINE. FOR YO PLEASURES. Rated PG-16.

Some people spend their Halloween trick-or-treating, while others slap on the whore makeup (let's be real, ladies, once you're over the age of 16 Halloween just becomes a great excuse to slut out) and go out to a party... But not J and K. They opted to do a podcast! And post it late! (Krissy's disclaimer - this is totally the baby's fault. She's just so NEEDY). As fashionably late to the Halloween party as this episode is, it's full of imitation-synth karaoke'ing, tales from our childhood, advice for outrunning chainsaw-toting psychopaths, and hearty endorsements for Activia! ...Seriously, can you even see that in print without singing it in your head?
